Cookie Policy
Effective date: 7 October 2026
This page describes what faststart.online stores on a reader's device. The short answer is that it stores nothing, and the rest of this page explains what that means and what happens instead.
What is a cookie, and what are the similar technologies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks a browser to store and send back on later visits, which lets the site recognise the same browser over time. The similar technologies reach the same end by other means: web storage keeps data in the browser under the site's name, a tracking pixel is a tiny image request whose purpose is the request itself, and fingerprinting identifies a browser from the settings it reveals, storing nothing at all.
Does this site use cookies?
No. faststart.online sets no cookies of any kind, first-party or third-party, and no other organisation can set one through this site because no other organisation's code runs on it. There is no analytics, no advertising tag, no pixel, no social or video embed and no session identifier, because none of the features that would need one exist here: no login, no basket, no saved preference and no form.
Then why is there no consent banner?
Because there would be nothing to consent to. A banner asking permission to set cookies on a site that sets none would be a false statement about how the site works, and it would train readers to click through a notice that means nothing. Where there is no cookie, the honest design is no banner.
What does happen when I visit a page?
The browser asks the web server for the page and for two files served from the same site: one stylesheet and one short script. The script's only job is the button that opens the reference index on narrow screens; it stores nothing and sends nothing. The server keeps an ordinary access log, retained for 30 days and then deleted, recording the IP address, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if the browser sends one, and the user-agent string. That log is kept by our hosting provider for security and fault diagnosis, and is described in the Privacy Policy.
Nothing else is requested. The site loads no web fonts — text is displayed in a typeface already on the reader's device. It loads no scripts, stylesheets, images or files from any other server, and uses no content delivery network. Every illustration is drawn in the page itself. The number of requests this site makes to any third party is zero.
Is anything stored in my browser at all?
No. The site uses no localStorage, no sessionStorage and no IndexedDB. It does not fingerprint the browser, and it contains no pixels or beacons. Closing the tab leaves nothing behind except whatever the browser keeps in its own cache, which it does for any page and which the reader controls in its settings.
What about after I follow a paid link?
A paid link leads away from faststart.online to the vendor's own website, with the referral handled by the affiliate network that operates the link. Those organisations may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains, typically to record where the referral came from so that commission can be attributed. FRESH POINT spol. s r.o. does not control those cookies and cannot read them; what they do is governed by the notices published on those sites. The arrangement behind the link is set out on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
How do I block or clear cookies generally?
Every current browser has a settings area covering privacy and site data. From there a reader can clear cookies and stored data already held, block cookies in general or from third parties specifically, and set the browser to clear everything when it closes; private windows discard their cookies at the end of the session. Menu names differ between browsers and change between versions, so the reliable route is the browser's own help pages rather than steps written here. Blocking cookies changes nothing about this site, since it sets none.
What if that ever changes?
If cookies or similar technologies are ever introduced, this page will be rewritten to say exactly what they are, what they do and how long they last, before any is set — and a working consent mechanism will be in place first, so that non-essential storage happens only where a reader has agreed to it. The notice and the mechanism come before the cookie, not after it.
Who do I ask about this?
Questions about this page can go to info@faststart.online. This policy and the Privacy Policy are written to agree with each other and with the site's code; a discrepancy between what is written here and what the site does is an error worth reporting, and it will be fixed.
