The site is not operated by, affiliated with or authorised by any game publisher. It is not an official source for any product it names, and it does not speak for any vendor.
What the library covers
The subject is the battle collection RPG: a free-to-play format in which players acquire a roster of characters, mostly through randomised draws, and develop them over months. The library covers the format itself, the economy that paces it, the randomised reward mechanic at its centre, the consumer position on purchases made inside it, Australian classification, what a game knows about its players, how these games are run on desktop computers, and how the accounts holding the progress are protected.
One entry describes a single named product, Raid: Shadow Legends, and does so only from that vendor's own published description. The other entries are about the category and apply across many titles.
How entries are chosen and maintained
Entries are chosen by question rather than by keyword: a concept earns an entry when a reader in Australia would need it explained before they could answer a practical question about one of these games, and when the explanation does not already exist in a form a general reader can use. Concepts adequately covered by an official Australian source are linked to that source rather than restated.
Each entry is written to a fixed shape. It opens with a quick-answer summary and a two-sentence definition, develops the concept with worked examples where the arithmetic or the sequence matters, and ends with cross-links to the entries that pick up the thread. Where a claim concerns Australian law, classification or consumer rights, it links to the body that publishes it — the ACCC, the Classification Board, the OAIC, the eSafety Commissioner, the ACSC or Scamwatch — or it is written as general guidance. Where a claim concerns a named product, it comes from that vendor's own material, and the gaps are marked rather than filled.
Entries are reviewed on a quarterly cycle, and out of cycle whenever a linked source is reissued or a reader reports an error. The date of the most recent review across the library appears in the footer of every page. Corrections are made on the affected page.
Authorship is institutional: entries are written and maintained by the FRESH POINT spol. s r.o. editorial team. The site publishes no bylines, no personal profiles and no reader contributions, and it does not publish reviews, scores, benchmarks, test results or testimonials of any kind.
The commercial relationship, stated plainly
This site earns money from affiliate links. One product named in the library, Raid: Shadow Legends, is a product FRESH POINT spol. s r.o. has a paid commercial relationship with: when a reader follows one of those links, registers and installs, the publisher of this site receives a commission from the affiliate network that operates the link.
That is a real conflict of interest, and the honest thing is to name it rather than describe the site as independent and leave it there. What follows from it in practice:
- Links to that product are marked as paid links wherever they appear, with a note beside the link itself and the full explanation on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
- The product is covered in one entry, built only from the vendor's description, with everything the vendor does not state listed as not stated.
- Commission does not decide which concepts the library covers, what an entry concludes, or the order of the index, which is alphabetical and therefore not open to commercial interest.
- The library publishes no product rankings and does not describe any game as the best of its kind, which removes the format in which a paid preference would usually be expressed.
- Every entry is written to stand up with the affiliate links removed. That is the test applied before an entry is published.
What this site does not do
It collects nothing. There is no form, no newsletter, no account, no quiz and no chat. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, loads no fonts or scripts from other servers, and makes no request to any third party at all. The only records that exist are the hosting provider's access logs and any email a reader chooses to send. The detail is in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, and both are written to match the code exactly.
It also does not give professional advice. The entries are general information about a category of games and about publicly published Australian rules; they are not legal, financial or consumer advice about any individual situation. The limits are set out in the Terms of Use.
Corrections and contact
Errors are worth reporting and are corrected on the page. The address for corrections, questions and privacy requests is info@faststart.online; the postal address is above and repeated on Contact.
